Learning Chinese

Recently, Hannah's vocabulary has mushroomed. From colours to letters to numbers to people's names to all sorts of household objects. All in English (apart from terms for relatives, such as 'aunty' and 'uncle', for which she uses Chinese). But this Chinese New year has given her reason to learn a couple of useful Chinese words: "ang pow" (red packets containing money) and "xie xie" (thank you). Have a look for yourself:

If you're going to learn Chinese, you might as well be getting some money out of it!

Is your brother in law going to enter the amazing race asia 3? Did he keep to his promise of going to the gym and converting his fat to hard, lean muscle?

Don't think Amazing Race is on the cards, although John has been going to the gym and playing tennis a fair bit in the last few months. Putting me to shame, anyway.
